Poland. A land best described as “here be dragons”, at least for the average citizen in Western Europe.
But Poland has so much more to offer than just dragons. They also make good car thieves and plumbers over there.
But despite those efforts, people in Western Europe just won’t pay notice to that not-so-small country to their right.
All people? Nooo! I care! I don’t know why, and maybe it is just another sign of deviant behaviour, but I actually bothered to learn the language and live there for a few months. Heck, I even created that blog.

And what’s more, I don’t even study slavonic languages at university. Doesn’t hinder me to attend the according lectures though. Luckily enough, heavy procrastination on my PhD thesis allows me to fill my spare time with a lot of stuff which is not even remotely related to my work. This includes a strong interest in political developments worldwide, a passion for literature and great curiosity on just how exactly language works.
I’ll keep on occupying myself with these things until tomorrow. Then I’ll surely start reading that book on how to stop procrastination, and everything will change. I promise!
